Calgary’s Cuthbert Leads Grey Cup Parade

ElishaCuthbert595Elisha Cuthbert is going home.

The Calgary native is heading back to her hometown to serve as Grand Marshall of the Grey Cup Parade, which precedes the Canadian Football League’s championship game on Nov. 28, the CBC reports. Fans of Doug Flutie will recall the CFL and its slightly larger field and somewhat different rules.

Cuthbert became the next it girl for a few years after her 2001 debut on “24″ as Kim Bauer, the daughter of fellow Canadian Kiefer Sutherland’s Jack Bauer. She had parts in “Old School” and “Love Actually” before starring in “The Girl Next Door,” which got mixed reviews. In the last couple of years, Cuthbert has starred in some lesser-known films and returned as Kim Bauer in the seventh season of “24.”
