Canada is considered the least corrupt country in the Americas, and eighth least corrupt in the world, according to a study released by Transparency International. The United States ranked 19th least corrupt in the world, mostly because of concerns about how money influences Congress.

Fair enough.

Apparently loonies and toonies have less influence on Canadian government.
